Coaching and Mentorship

Charlotte currently trains under the expert guidance of Savannah Rijk, founder of Mussenist Dressage. Savannah is renowned for producing FEI-quality dressage horses and helping riders achieve their aspirations. With extensive experience working alongside top Grand Prix trainers in the Netherlands, including Diederik van Silfhout, Margot Timmermans, and Leunus van Lieren, Savannah brings a wealth of knowledge to her coaching and training.

Savannah also excels at working with young riders, helping them reach their full potential through her mentorship and expert coaching. As a trusted mentor, she has become a significant role model for Charlotte, providing the guidance and support needed for her growth. Under Savannah’s direction, Charlotte continues to thrive, developing her skills and advancing in her dressage career with confidence and dedication.   Savannah’s mentorship has been instrumental in Charlotte’s rapid progress, helping her advance from Training Level Bronze to FEI Gold in just one year.

A special mention goes to Michele Ottiger, Charlotte’s first dressage coach, whose inspiration and guidance laid the foundation for Charlotte’s passion for the sport. Hailing from Switzerland, Michele brought a wealth of knowledge in classical dressage, making the learning process both enjoyable and educational. Her dedication to teaching the fundamentals of dressage set Charlotte on the right path, igniting her love for riding and shaping the early stages of her equestrian career.
