Our book, Riding for Gold, has been one of the most meaningful projects we’ve ever created. What started as a collection of memories, show-day reflections, and late-night thoughts slowly grew into a heartfelt story about love, resilience, and the pursuit of a dream. The book follows Charlotte’s journey from the time she first sat on a pony at three years old to becoming one of Canada’s top FEI Junior dressage riders. It captures the highs and lows of chasing an extraordinary goal, the long hours, the tears, the laughter, and the unwavering belief that with enough heart, anything is possible.

But Riding for Gold is about more than horses and competition. It’s about a mother and daughter navigating challenges together, learning from every setback, and celebrating every triumph, no matter how small. It’s about the incredible people, mentors, and horses who crossed our path and shaped the story in ways we never could have imagined. Writing it together was an emotional journey of its own, one that reminded us why we started down this road and how far we’ve come.
