Show Season is in Full Swing!

It’s been a busy and exciting couple of months in preparation of our 2025 show season! We kicked things off at our first horse show at RCRA with hopes of qualifying for the North American Youth Championships (NAYC). While we faced a few hiccups and had some valuable learning moments, we unfortunately didn’t meet the benchmark qualifying score. That said, we've regrouped, refocused, and set our sights on new goals.

We're continuing to compete at the FEI Junior level, gaining invaluable experience with every ride. Our second show was a fantastic milestone—scoring a 67.2% in the FEI Junior Individual Test and a 67.5% in the Freestyle! We received positive feedback from the FEI judge, and Dino was an absolute superstar in the ring.

Next up: Angelstone this weekend! We’ll be back down centerline at the FEI level, and after some big breakthroughs in training with my coach, we’re feeling strong and ready. Competing at this level is no joke—it's fierce, especially up against the top junior riders in Ontario.

Dino continues to be the ultimate schoolmaster. He makes me work for every mark, but when I ask the right way, he always answers with willingness and pride. His quirky personality is shining through more and more, and he keeps everyone laughing with his silly faces and charming antics.
